Yes. Your insurance company may recommend a shop, but ultimately the choice of a repair facility is up to you. It is illegal for an insurance company to force you to get an estimate from a certain shop or to have your vehicle repaired by a certain repair facility.
No. Missouri state law requires only one estimate if your insurance company or a third party is paying to have your damaged vehicle repaired. If the company disputes your estimate, it is their responsibility to secure a second or any additional quotes. As with any other major service you have performed, we recommend that you ask many questions and check with friends and family for referrals before deciding. Don’t let price be the sole deciding factor.
Industry jargon can be difficult to decipher. Here’s a quick breakdown of the differences. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are those made by the manufacturer of your vehicle. LKQ (Like Kind Quality) parts come from salvaged vehicles and are cleaned for use in auto repair. Aftermarket parts aren’t made by the manufacturer of your vehicle and are offered at lower cost than OEMs, but may not be the perfect match for your vehicle. They are also sometimes known as QRM parts (Quality Replacement Parts).
We do our best to accommodate your needs. Give us a call at the location nearest you to schedule your vehicle for repairs.
Check your auto insurance policy or speak to your agent, but most deductibles should be paid to the repair center at the time of service.
When we assess the damage, we will give you an estimated completion date based on your car’s damage and repair needs. Please keep in mind that we may need to adjust that anticipated date based on additional damage found while making repairs or if we are waiting for details from your insurance company. Our staff is committed to keeping you updated on your repair process. If you ever have a question, please contact us.
Check your policy and/or call your insurance company to find out if you have rental coverage and what your specific limitations are. We can help you make rental car arrangements if your policy allows.
Yes, we offer a lifetime warranty for the time you own your vehicle.
